Wow, alot of hate.
You seem to generate a lot of hate towards you. XD; Haha, but it was a great flash. Very pretty, very well done. I liked the story, the animation, the general look of it; and absolutely perfect choice of music.
I don't know what some people are on, but not to be a passerby, I'll elaborate.
Animation/Art: Nice and smooth; realistic, and yet, cartoonish enough to fit the art style. I'm not too fond of the South Park style, but you seem to be well practiced in it, and not just using a bloody generator like most people. As before, very pretty, and beautiful art; no jagged, random lines, it was all very well planned and well placed. A bit too much obvious tweening though, which I suggest you try just a little bit harder to hide next time-- but you've made a lot of progress with that too I've noticed. Also, when she throws the paper at him-- why does a throw to the right suddenly become a throw to the left? just flip that one part, and it'll make sense. Also, when his old girlfriend slides inconspicuously back into the house; it looked horrible. If you want her to step out, you should show a leg bending back so it doesn't look like she's on a conveyor belt; it worked for the rest of the movie, but not there. Easiest way to get around that, is have her stay inside. I 'unno, but if I was her, I'd have stayed inside and slammed the door on his face. Maybe I'm just a cruel girl.
Sound: I'm rather tone-deaf, and miserable at detecting bad songs, or good songs; but it fit the mood of this flash perfectly. The timing as well was absolutely brilliant; it had me trying to keep from crying. And it takes a bloody lot to make me cry with a flash movie!
Story: It took me awhile to figure out what was going on; but I took your advice and watched the rest. That did make sense; but I'm still a little lost... who was shot? The girl, or the boy? I mean, it doesn't make sense for the bully to have been stalking him to England... wasn't he dumped? Did he go after her instead? It's a bit fuzzy and makes me gnash my teeth knowing there won't be a sequel explaining that. So, just for clarification, and closure on my part... who did that abusive imbecile shoot? Him, or her? Even the line said right before it, "The angel I've been looking for was with me all along... But it wasn't meant to last forever." makes me think that she was the victim. Other than that though... very beautiful. Short, sweet, and very emotional.
Maybe that's why the newgrounders hate you; the girls can handle a tear-jerker, but the boys think they're gay for thinking this is sad. XD
Ah well, whatever floats their boats.
Brilliant work, and I hope to see more works from you in the future. Let's hope this gets front page, yeah?
Cheers,
Skis.
